The evaluations are complete

To such a competition like the World Skills in the top rankings it needs to complete the next can also still a luck of the competition. And if none of this is luck or bad luck, then you are quickly in midfield. Because in the ability and the attitude it was not safe. Luke is an outstanding young professional man. Only already own participation in the World Skills makes each candidate a big winner. Exploring the experiences of a participant or a participant shall have the right shape a lifetime. And will continue to lag behind the more time is all the more valuable one is clear as to participate in such a large event.

Luke, You may not proud of you and your its performance.
I salute Dir

C 4 - Competition Day 4

It's done! Luke has the toughest conditions within 4 days for 22 geschufftet. Only four of these 22 hours were left to the last of three modules complete. The night before Luke has ensured that he received in the morning was the first to covering. With skill and lightning speed, he then introduced and its underlay and removed clean. The plates were also very speedily (funny to get along without the umlaut keys) and so could cut Lukas also begin soon with the installation.
good in the time left Luke's flooring sparkling clean. Unfortunately, with the rest minutes no longer work on the wall the previous day. For at that time, the evaluation of module 2 was over.

So, Luke! Before the contest, once you have breathed in deeply and exhale You may now return.

Greetings from Calgary to Switzerland

C3 - Competition Day 3

We're all have known. The wall with the helmet is very difficult in the allotted time to complete. Luke's now has unfortunately experienced firsthand. This is not really too bad. I've always said Luke, If you have bad disks, makes it not so much. The other 19 candidates have so exactly the same records.
Lukas is not alone with this fact. It had to contend with some candidates of the time shortage. Now we will see what will happen in the assessment.

Hey, Luke. You've now got the best out of you. Hats off to your performance under these conditions.

C2 - Competition Day 2

with a magnificent sprint Luke put the foundation to stay on in the race. Although there was no time left to work with the shot of wall B to start. It just lacks a few minutes (with all Kandiaten) to deliver a perfect job. The most important thing is that Luke Module 1 finished gestellt hat.

Wettbewerbstag starten.

Grüsse in die Schweiz

Butterfly Baby Qoutes

C1 - Competition Day 1

Now it was provide an overview of the paperwork and ask any questions. Then, when all discrepancies were resolved, was the chief expert of the long-awaited launch.
Even after the amendment to the modular system are still many different working practices to see. The property consists of three modules.
module 1 is to the wall A little kick. This module must be at the end of the second day of competition shall be finalized.
module 2 is wall to wall B. This is the end of the third day to finish.
Module 3 is the floor which then should be ready by the end.
Thus, feiern, the experts in the evening of Day 2 and 3 have your scores. This system forces the candidates of course almost at the same time also to do the same. And yet other countries, other customs! Lukas has started great in the competition. And trotdem is still a piece of coal (or two) nachzulegen. Day two will lead the way around the bend toward the finish line to get optimal.
Hopp Lukas! The preliminary work to see

The World Skills 2009 in Calgary are at last opened

GIGANTIC - is the word that most likely would apply if the opening ceremony should be described in one word. Simply unique is the fact that today this opening ceremony for the first time has taken place in the open air. With beautiful weather, the almost 1,000 candidates from 51 different nations into the Reverend einmaschiert Stampede Arena.
addition to a group of motocross bikes with their breathtaking stunts performed on stage, several performances by various singers, dancers and formations of the brief appearance of KISS was definitely a highlight. Yes you read right - the legendary Kiss!

Now it is called only for Luke: Gring abe u plättle, plättle, plättle, wafers ....

Birthday Speeches For 60th

at work up close

After yesterday Luke was able to visit his workplace, he was allowed this up today. The whole work was dedicated to preparation for the candidate. They all enjoyed an introduction to the work safety, as it is handled in Canada. For this purpose a Müsterchen: Once a candidate is working at his workplace at the top there is a MUSS, dass er eine Schutzbrille trägt.
Dabei wurden die Schrauben der Gipsplatten wieder gelöst, um dahinter mit Schifthölzer so gut as possible what out of it. In addition, each candidate filler was provided. Now I am firmly convinced that these 20 objects have the most accurate walls across Calgary.
We can now see, contrary to the long-awaited go-ahead to the World Skills 2009th
morning, Tuesday, will take place the Eröffnungsceremonie, and on Wednesday September 2 fight against almost 1,000 candidates in over 50 professions for medals.

greetings, and thanks for the entries

Daylight Gained Each Day In Illinois

While the candidates were allowed to live your own program, the experts today at 1 Time the competition site visit. This is the workplace for the next ten days.
Here in Calgary, the various halls and tents on the fair grounds very close to each other and reachable by foot in few minutes. Which means it does not go 20 minutes (one-way) lost their lunch time as ever experienced. The Canadian
Shop Master (Thank you Pat Baxter) really did a superb job, stellte sich sofort heraus.

What Size Turbo Does The 09 Cobalt Have

started with delay .. . Now there

full of energy met the almost complete (now de ned bini einisch letscht) Swiss-Skills team yesterday morning at the airport in Kloten. After an hour late (so much snow was probably now not even on the run) but then lost the bird or the ground under the wheels and flew via Toronto to Calgary. After 13 hours (9 +4 would have to get there) of pure flight time, the Swiss delegation is increasing very enthusiastic off the plane. Taken in receiving them because of the six pre-traveled members of the delegation.
Candidates leave But Calgary immediately by bus to the northeast, to prepare themselves in a remote lodge on competition.
called for the experts is now the candidate to create optimal conditions. These are the day before the first inspect your competition day jobs can operate machine tools and testing. Those tools and machines, since 25 July Emmenbrücke the company Kuehne & Nagel has been passed, and now should be by sea and rail freight in Calgary.

Greetings from Calgary

Le Pénis De Gaspard Ulliel

landed on time "ICE"

On the trail towards Calgary plenty to see a lot. You are hardly got into the car and drove off, one of the next tourist-sign indicates an interest. So it happens (on my own body experiences) that within 20 kilometers of well and got out is like seven times. But still, I reached my milestone (Columbia Icefield Centre) on time in order to climb with the first tour that day, the glacier. It sounds now much harder than it is. With specially designed and built "Icefield Explorers" (as they call it) is gone to meet on the second largest glacier in Canada (Athabasca Icefield), about four kilometers of the tip. Like any Icefield was this bigger years ago. Today is a kilometer wide, six miles long and 325 meters thick. After warming up
means tidy the next milestone in "Lake Louise". Very quickly I realized what it is Canada's most photographed natural location to be. The image along Lake Louise with its glacier in the background of more than 100,000 visitors annually clipped. And at lunch time I was with about 4,000 other tourist alone at Lake Louise. Beautiful, right?
I am currently located in Canmore, about 90 minutes from Calgary and wait until my alarm clock goes off. Because then the hourglass starts to run to the World Skills in earnest. Today at 10.10 Central European Time Clock lifts the team from Swiss-Skills in Kloten. The mission can begin

Uf em Wäg lost after Chaschper?

After my 680 km of "driving day 1" I drove from Vancouver to Kamloops to Iceland. To Kamloops around but nothing could be seen more as bleak (see picture) District. On my second day of driving
I had to then suddenly the title question.
I was on the way from Kamloops to Jasper (so the place is called in the same park). Suddenly a camp name "Lucerne". See for yourself and see the picture. Next to it is my "modest" tour guide. A LINCOLN! Not every day that such a car can be driven.

Also bis dann...
Gruss Roger

Thinned Forehead Hair Waxing

Go West .....

Das wäre ja eigenlich a good thing. However, if not on opening day, the rides are free. So 100,000 people have availed of this offer. In half the time I would have needed to queue up, I was a taxi driven safely front of the hotel.
The day after, I have met one (for one year) emigrated Weggis. His insider can I pass on my Swiss expert colleagues from the World Skills too. Hey Luke, thanks no einisch vel times for Danish Abig and aces high above Vancouver.

greetings to Switzerland
Roger

The preparations are complete!

Das ganze Swiss-Skills Team hat am 25. Juli 2009 Ihre Werkzeugkisten in Emmenbrücke abgegeben. Until one day earlier, Luke with his, now very familiar to him tools, trained in Dagmersellen. Almost too long ..... but the two big box with the emblem of Switzerland have their way then but still found time to Emmenbrücke ;-)
now is to think slowly to pack it, because on 26 August starts, the Swiss-Skills team to stay.

Yours truly, here's take a few days early to spot a visit. This leads my journey through Toronto, Vancouver, over the Rocky Mountains to Calgary.

Greetings to all and homesickness Weggis Weggis,
all board layers and / or so complicated,
to Switzerland and the rest of the world.
